Daily Image 2-22-11

1. I see a lady laying down in the streets, In a dress and a puddle of water around her reflrcting the sky.
2. I see the colors blue, white, and black.
3. Depress, Happy, Calm, Adventurous and Beautiful.
4. This mean that she could be adventurous or depress. Depress that she wish she was dead or Adventurous that she wanted to try laying in the streets.
5. The Rule of Thirds ( Horizontal line).

Adding Variety

1. Describe one technique listed that you already use. Give me a specific example. - Shooting my images from different angles, For e.g.. taking picture form the side or from the bottom of the person.

2. Describe two techniques you hadn’t thought of using before.- Nose shoot and over the shoulder shoot.

3. Which technique listed will you try to use next time we take photos?- I would use a nose shoot or a close up one.

4. Why should you move around your subject?- To see which is your best angle or to get different subject points.

5. Why is it a good idea to use continuous shoot?- So you can pick out which of you pictures look best ( comparing your pictures).

6. What is the one last tip, and how does it help you become a better photographer?- Take notes n what you are doing, because you will need it.

Photo Planning

1. Describe in your own words what a “snap happy photographer” is - It has a little thought about the subject of the image, out of focus shot ( random shots).

2. Describe in your own words what an “over planner” is - to take more than one picture of the same or to plan the time and consider the type of photo they're going to capture.

3. Explain why you are either a snap happy photographer, or an over planner. Give one specific example of how you work - I worked with both I snap happy photos before just playing with the camera and taking random pictures.

4. What are 2 questions listed in the article that you can use to help plan your photos better? - They are: What is the subject of this photo? What is the mood of the moment?

5. Why can taking too much time kill a creative moment? - If you take long your picture is not going to be random, it will look perfect and boring.

6. Why is it important to ask yourself questions as you take photos? - You should ask your self if the picture will look good or alive if you take it this way or the other.

1. I see a woman standing in her living room, with pictures, on the wall and a hammer on the ground.
2. I see red, white, blue, green and baby blue.
3. Bright, Earthy, Alive, Memories and Transparent.
4. It means this lady has memories of this place and when she is putting it up it was so important to her it came to life.
5. Horizontal line and Clear focus on point of interest.

Assignment #7 Depth of Field



1. Depth of Field is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appears acceptably shaped in an image.

2. The difference between small and large depth of field is that: Small depth of field is when one thing is in the focused in the picture. Large depth of filed is there is more than one thing focused in the picture.

3. My photo shows that there are more than one in a small depth of field, the other picture shows that it is a large depth of field because there are more than one focused in the picture.

Daily Image Feb.16. 2011

1. I see a table, with a cup with coffee spilling all over it. There is a book on the table covered in coffee too.
2. I see the colors brown, white, and chocolate brown
3. Nasty, Dirty, Clumsy, Awkward and Creative.
4. The photo means the person was being clumsy and spilled the coffee.
5. The Rule of Thirds line like horizontal and square.

Quiz # 7




  1. Small depth of field.
  2. Small depth of field is a image uses a larger aperture , where there is only one thing in focus.

4. Large depth of field is where the image needs to decrease the shutter speed, it is focusing in the distance and use a smaller aperture.

5. The exposure in each image was the right amount of lighting(image 1. there was enough lighting the same was for the 2. image). Exposure means the amount of light that goes into your image.
6. Emphasis means its is the lines in the picture, the mood and situation of the photo.
7. Depth of field is the amount of aperture and lighting in the image.

1. In this picture I see walls with a big bridge over it. I see a big board under it looks like its holding the bridge up. With kids hiding around the sides of the into some bushes.

4. This photo means exciting because no matter how the place looks the kids are playing and having fun playing together.
